IPL 2017 Teams

It is the 10th Edition of the cash-rich tournament in the country. Vivo IPL 2017 will be having 8 opening ceremonies this season in order to commemorate 10 years of success. The High Octane, Adrenaline Pumping tournament is going to kick start from 6 April 2017 continue till 21 May 2017.

Eight teams participate in this year season on Vivo IPL 2017.

There are three stages in the Vivo IPL 2017 tournament 

1. The League Stage:      Consisting of 56 matches in total.
2. The Play Off:              Top 4 teams from the league stage will qualify for                                      the Play-Offs.
3. The Finals:                 Top 2 teams from the Play-Offs qualify to play the                                      finals.

The Opening and Closing matches are played in Hyderabad the home ground of the defending Champions Sunrisers Hyderabad.
